Download Exchange Rate Integration

In Infor CRM, we can maintain the exchange rates manually or download the rates automatically. To download the exchange rates, you must enable the Download Exchange Rate integration. Only the users with the administrator role can enable this integration. Infor CRM uses the Yahoo finance API to download the rates. The rates are displayed in the Exchange Rates List view.

Note: Yahoo finance is a free third-party API. Infor CRM does not guarantee the delivery and the accuracy of the exchange rates. Only the current day's exchange rates are downloaded.

You can schedule the download of the exchange rates based on the requirements. By default, the rates are downloaded every day at midnight. If you schedule the task of downloading the exchange rates, with the Download Exchange Rates integration disabled, the task is completed as scheduled, but the exchange rates are not updated. You cannot schedule another exchange rate job prior to the next schedule run. However, you can run another exchange rate update job manually before the current scheduled job is completed using the Job Manager.

Note: It is not recommended to delete scheduled jobs.

The newly downloaded exchange rates can be applied to these entities:

Opportunities with the status Open, by setting the Refresh Exchange Rates on Open Opportunities to True.
Quotes with the status New, by setting the Refresh Exchange Rates on Open Quotes to True.
Sales orders with the status Sales Order, by setting the Refresh Exchange Rates on Open Sales Orders to True.
