Editing repository roles

You can modify the repository roles, assign users and user groups to selected repository roles. You can also assign repository permissions to repository roles.
Note: You can only edit the repository permission assignments of custom repository roles that were added to Application Manager. You cannot change the repository permissions assignments of build-in roles that were delivered with Application Manager.
  1. Select Dashboards > User and Permission Management > Administrators dashboard.
  2. In the Repository Roles widget, select the application.
  3. Select the repository role that you want to modify.
  4. To assign repository roles to users and user groups:
    1. In the Users and User Groups widget, click the Edit icon
    2. Select users and click the Save icon.
    You assign the repository role to all users that are selected in the Users and User Groups widget.
  5. To assign repository roles to basic groups:
    1. In the Basic Groups widget, click the Edit icon.
    2. Select the groups and click the Save icon.
  6. For repository roles that are not protected built-in roles, you can edit repository permissions:
    1. In the Repository Permissions widget, click the Edit 'Repository Permissions' Assignments icon.
    2. Select the repository permissions that you want to apply to this role and click the Save icon.
