User-defined outputs
User-defined outputs (UDOs) enable you to include your own calculated output within the output of a worksheet query. For example, if a query outputs a figure for sales and a figure for variable costs, you can create a UDO to display the Gross Margin (Sales minus Variable Costs).
There are a number or functions which enable you to format the result. Additionally, there are a number of pre-set functions available to use within the formulas you create, including text string functions, mathematical functions, and date functions. These functions are Visual Basic (VB) script formulas. You can also can use multiple lines of VBScript formulas, such as IF statements.
