Filtering on a hierarchy

This feature enables you to use a hierarchy as a mandatory filter for use when reporting.

To set a hierarchy as a mandatory filter:

Select LA\Hierarchy; Currency Code as the output column.
The filter section of the query is populated by creating a mandatory filter based on the selected Hierarchy in the output selection.
Double-click the LA\Hierarchy; Currency Code filter, then expand the Parent Hierarchy to display the Child Hierarchies.
Select a Child Hierarchy, for example, EUROPE, then click OK.
You are returned to the Query Editor, where the new filter is displayed, with the Hierarchy value in the From and To fields.
Review the data, then if satisfied, click OK to run the query.
