Scheduler Administration

In Infor BI Repository Administration, users can use a scheduler service to control the tasks that are performed on registered report catalogs. To view the settings of the scheduler service, select General Settings > Scheduler Administration in the tree. Specify the report catalog connections that are enabled for the scheduler service and how tasks are handled by the scheduler service.

These actions are available to users:

  • Start and stop the scheduler service.
  • Enable task scheduling for separate report catalogs.
  • Configure the log level of the tasks that are controlled by the scheduler service.
  • Check and cancel the running tasks.
Note: Users who manage the scheduler service and the running tasks must have these permissions in the Report Catalog Permission Management:
  • Create Schedule: This permission on the report catalog level grants authority to register report catalogs and to define scheduled tasks.
  • Administer Schedules: This permission on the report catalog level grants authority to edit and delete tasks of all users and to administer the scheduler service.

The dialog for the settings of the scheduler service is divided into the tabs General, Connections, and Task Management.
