Administering the registered configuration sources

To administer a special configuration source node under Configuration > Sources, right-click the node and select one of these commands from the context menu:

  • The menu command Properties opens the dialog Properties:
    • Enterprise configuration source nodes: Here you can change the name and the description of the enterprise configuration source node. The Configuration folder text box is disabled.
    • Service configuration source nodes: On the General tab, you can change the name and the description of the configuration source node. The Repository Registration Service URL text box is disabled. On the Credentials tab, you can change the user credentials, user name and password. Select the check box Register to administer the service, to activate administrative access to the Repository Registration Service. The administrator can then perform all the required tasks to configure the Repository Registration Service from such a system.
  • The menu command Remove removes the selected configuration source node from the Sources node. In case of a service configuration source node, the command removes the connection not the service itself.
  • If you select a service configuration source node, the menu command Change Administrator Credentials opens the dialog Change Administrator Credentials where you can change the password of the current administrator for the Repository Registration Service administration.
Note: These menu commands are only available for enterprise and service configuration source nodes. You cannot administer the user configuration and machine configuration source nodes.
