Configuring logging methods
In the tree, select Properties tab. On the Properties tab, you configure the log methods Text File, Event Viewer, and Custom, that is, user-defined, which you use for the event filters:

- Text File: Specify the name of the text file in the Name text box. Specify the directory for the text files. Select the values in the fields Maximum number of log files and Maximum size of log file in MB. If a file has reached the maximum size, logging will be continued in a new file. When the maximum number of files is reached, logging is resumed in the first file.
- Event Viewer: Specify the name of the log view. Event information will be written to a section of that name in the Windows Event Viewer.
- Custom: Select the option Use custom logging method. In the Assembly file box, specify the DLL file of the external log module and select the name of the class that processes the events in the Class name drop-down list.
