Specifying the TCP port

To make the Log Service available to other computers in the network, you must specify the TCP port that must be monitored by the service. You must specify this port in the local log setting, if the Log Service is used.

To specify the TCP port, right-click Log Service in the tree underneath the General Settings node. Click the Properties tab and specify the TCP port number. In the Computer name field, the name of your computer is displayed. When other computers in the network must use the Log Service of your computer, this name must be specified in the log configuration.
