Users

When you create a repository, these users are created and assigned to built-in roles and built-in groups:

  • System: This is the internal user for the Repository Service access. The user is not visible in BI Services and on-premise environments.
  • AleaInternal: This is the internal user for the OLAP Server access. The user is visible in on-premise environments as system object.
  • Admin: This is the default administrator user.
  • Guest: This is the guest account.

The System user is added automatically to existing repositories that are migrated.

Built-in users are protected according to these rules:

  • The System user is protected in new and migrated repositories. The user's assignments to roles are protected as well.
  • The AleaInternal user is protected in new and migrated repositories. The user's assignments to roles are protected in newly created models of new and migrated repositories. They are not protected in existing models of migrated repositories.
  • Other users are not protected.
