Exporting repository data

Note: 
  • To export, import, or copy repository data, you require the permission Administer Repository and the User Management permission Administer User Management.
  • When you export data and structures to a file that is used for import in a different repository, the schema version of the export file may be older than the internal schema version of the target repository.

To export repository data:

  1. Right-click the registration of the repository in the tree and select All tasks > Export Repository Data.
  2. In the Specify Export File dialog, specify the path and the name of the export file. The default file name has this syntax: <name of the registration>_CommonObjectStore.dat.
  3. Click Next and then Finish in the next dialog to start the export.
  4. Click OK to complete the data export.
