Editing repository registrations
To edit a registration, right-click the registration (a connection must not exist) and select . The dialog Registration Properties opens. The dialogs Registration Properties and New Registration have the same contents.
Under Database connection, the configured database and the server location is shown.
Under General, you can change the description of the registration. The name of the registration and the configuration that is assigned to the registration are preset and cannot be changed. The configuration source can be a User, a Computer, an Enterprise, or a Service.
Under Repository authentication, you can change the authentication system of the user that is used to log on to the repository and that must be activated in the User Management. Specify the log-on data of the user account. The default user name for the authentication system Basic is admin. To save the log-on data, select the check box Save password.
To edit the connection string, click . The dialog Database Connection for the configuration of the connection string opens. The dialog is different for the database types Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL Server, and Oracle Database Server. The current database type of the configuration is preselected.
