Connecting to a repository database

To connect to a repository database, right-click the registration in the tree and select Connect. The connection is established with the data saved in the registration properties:

If the log-on data is invalid or the password has not been saved, a log-on dialog opens. Here you select the authentication system the user originates from and specify the user's log-on data:

The default user name for the authentication system Basic is admin (no password required). To save the log-on data, select the check box Save password.

With the permission Administer Users and Groups you can re-activate the user account in the User Properties dialog:

If the database schema version of the repository is outdated, you are prompted to update your repository database. The update will be performed, when you click Yes. Backup the database before you start the update.
