Concept of permissions
In Repository you administer the user permissions for the products of Infor BI. In Repository you assign roles to the users. Roles are a combination of permissions. Roles are assigned to users either directly or by a group.
In Repository you may integrate users and groups from other authentication systems.
To assign roles to users, the users must exist in the User Management. You create or add users in the User Management.
If the user originates from an external authentication system, the system must first be registered.

For each level of the Permission Management, there are separate roles that you assign to the users.

You cannot change these roles for the User Management. You may create roles at the other levels. Permissions cannot be created in Repository.
