Cubes
The Cubes component enables the administration and modification of cubes. The shortcut menu contains three commands (alternatively you can use the corresponding buttons on the toolbar):

Opens the New Cube on Server 'Name' dialog. | |

Use this command to open the Import Cube dialog box and to import cubes from other databases or an ASCII file. | |

Choose this command to update your cube list. |
The right pane of the Administration Console displays all cubes contained in the current database. The shortcut menu of a cube and the toolbar present the following commands and buttons:

Opens the Edit Cube dialog where you can edit the cube description. | |

Removes a cube from the list. | |
| |
Saves a cube in the database. Only loaded cubes can be saved. | |

Removes a cube from the local memory. | |
| |
Opens the Import Cube dialog. | |

Opens the Export Cube dialog. | |
| Opens the Import Cube Rules dialog. | ||
| Opens the Export Cube Rules dialog. | ||

Click this command to open the Cube Rules dialog box. | |

Opens the Edit Data Areas dialog. | |

There is also a cube that controls access to cubes. It is called #_TABACC, for table access control.
