Manage unavailable lists and calculations

Lists and calculations can become unavailable if, for example, the cube within which they exist is deleted.

This message is displayed when the unavailable list or calculation is referenced "Calculations that could not be opened when starting database alias [database alias name]".

Click Details to see which list or calculation is unavailable.

Note: Lists and calculations can be reported as invalid if they belong to a database alias which is not currently connected.
  1. Select Tools > Manage Unavailable Lists and Calculations.
    A message informs you if there are calculations which might become available when their database aliases are connected. Click OK.
  2. Click the Unavailable Lists or Unavailable Calculations tab as required.
  3. Select the check boxes of the lists or calculations to remove.
  4. Click Delete.
    Confirm that you want to delete the selected lists or calculations.
    Note: Do not select the Select All check box unless all lists or calculations are redundant.
