Project permissions
At the project level you manage the user permissions for projects. Each project has a permission management of its own. Some project roles are predefined.
In the
User Management dialog for a project, these
permissions can be granted to any of the predefined project roles: :
| Project permission | Description |
|---|---|
| Administer | Bearers can manage the project permissions. This project permission is assigned to the project roles AdministratorRole, MasterRole, and Project DesignerRole and reportDesignerRole. |
| Delete | Bearers can delete the project. The project and its subordinate elements must not be checked out by other users. This project permission is assigned to the project roles MasterRole, ProjectDesigner and reportDesignerRole . |
| Edit | Bearers can edit the project properties (the project must not be checked out by other users) and to add lists, calculations, variables, Aliases, tasks, shared media, and to add, update and delete languages and database descriptions. This project permission is assigned to the project roles MasterRole, ProjectDesigner and reportDesignerRole. |
| View | Bearers can view the Project Permission Management. This project permission is assigned to all project roles . |
