Inserting cell notes

You can insert and edit cell notes in Ad-hoc reports and in Cell Based and Excel Aggregated reports. You insert and edit notes on the Note tab of the Cell Note Editor.The Note tab has these options:
Option Keyboard shortcut
Save Ctrl + S
Discard changes since last save Ctrl + D
Delete Ctrl + Del
Copy to clipboard Ctrl + C
Cut to clipboard Ctrl + X
Undo - undo saved and unsaved changes Ctrl + Z
Redo - redo saved and unsaved changes Ctrl + Y

To insert or edit a cell note

  1. Double-click the cell in which to insert the note, or which contains the note to edit.
    The Cell Note Editor is displayed.
    Note: The Show cell notes option must be enabled in the Options dialog.

  2. Write or edit the note.
  3. Click Save.
