Setting constraints

To specify that the value of a cell cannot rise above and/or fall below a particular value as a result of spreading, set a constraint.

To set a constraint:

  1. Select the cell and click Set Constraints in the Write Back group on the ribbon.
    The Set Constraints dialog is displayed.
  2. Specify the values greater and less than which the cell cannot contain.
    For each cell on which a constraint is set, a cell comment is displayed in the report.
