Converting a repository

If the repository is not at the correct level, a message is displayed when you try to run Application Studio.

The Repository Conversion Wizard converts the repository databases from onVision 5.2, 10.1, or 10.2 into the format of Application Studio.

To connect to the repository with which the new database is to be compatible, select a repository from the list, and enter the log-on data.

Note: Always convert an old repository into an empty one in order to avoid complications with User Management.

If the source repository contains checked-out objects, they must be checked in the repository. Right-click the repository registration in Infor BI Repository Administration and select All Tasks > Pending Operations. Accept all pending operations.
