Enabling dynamic report delivery

When you create a report book, an option on the General tab is Enable dynamic delivery. Dynamic delivery means that the conditions under which a report book is delivered, and to whom it is delivered, can be specified.

Dynamic delivery requires three components:

Report book

The report book must be available in scheduled jobs and be enabled for dynamic delivery.

The report book must include a report which drives delivery of the book. The driving report must be the first report in the Report List and it must be specified as the Delivery driver report.

Scheduled task

The scheduled task to deliver the report book must be enabled. If the report is to be delivered by email, you must select Send email ,and specify an email address on the Email tab.

Note: You must specify an email address, even if the mail addresses to which the report book will be delivered are specified in the delivery driving report.

Delivery driver report

The delivery driver report has a Deliver report book report action which is triggered when the report book is executed by a scheduled task.
