Availability tab

All list objects except hyperblocks have an Availability tab. Command buttons and web extensions also have an Availability tab. By default, objects are visible. Clear the Visible check box to make an object invisible in all these outputs:

  • Print
  • PDF
  • HTML
  • PowerPoint
  • Image export
  • Print Preview
  • View mode
  • Debug mode
  • Application Studio WebServices

To use a variable to control the visibility of an object, select the Variable check box and select the variable. Valid values for the variable are true (visible) and false (invisible).

Select the Print Object check box to ensure that reports printed from Design Mode display the object.
