Multiple output cells

When you drag a list from the Database Structure onto the worksheet, it creates a hyperblock with one key output cell and one value cell. If the list is a relational list, or a DataLink list, the hyperblock displays only the first column of data.

You can display further columns of data by creating multiple output cells.

To create multiple output cells and display multiple columns of data from a relational list:

  1. Create a hyperblock and expand it by one cell for each additional column of data to display.
  2. Open the Object Properties dialog of the hyperblock.
    In the Hyperblock cells section, the key output cell is indicated by a key icon, and has the value 'Caption'.
  3. Click New.
    A further key output cell is created with the value 'Caption'.
  4. Click 'Caption' on the new cell and select the column of data to display.
  5. Add further key output cells as required.
