Using variables to sort attributes

This example uses the gv_SortingASCDESC variable created in a previous example.

In the List Designer click New Sorting Criterion.
In Sorting Criteria Settings, select Type > Attribute.
Select Order > <Edit Formula> and expand the list of global variables.
Double-click the gv_SortingASCDESC variable to select it.
Click OK.
Select String as the data type.
From the Attribute list select the attribute by which to sort.
