Excluding zero values from a report

  1. Create a new value filter.
  2. In the Filter By field, select Value.
  3. In the Condition field, select Does not equal.
  4. In the Value field, enter 0.
  5. In the Data Area, define the range of data to which to apply the filter.
For filtering zero values, this will be the same range as the range of data on which you have reported. For example, if a report on sales of Product ’x’ in 2003 includes some zero values, a filter to exclude those zero values must specify Product x and 2003 in the Data Area.
  6. Apply the changes to the list.

If you want to identify the cells with zero values instead of exclude them, change the Does not equal Equals in the Condition field.
