Names and descriptions in CPM Applications database aliases

You can specify whether the names or the descriptions of elements are displayed by a CPM Applications database alias as the default value for the caption attribute.

The name of an element is passed as an attribute and is independent of the caption. This enables you to select both name and description for display in reports.

On the Advanced tab of the Edit Database Alias dialog, add one of these strings to the user-defined properties:

• captions=descriptions;
• captions=names;
