Log on parameters

By default, the Allow Manual Log-on option in Direct Link Manager is not selected and the Log On dialog is not displayed when a page containing a direct link is opened.

Note: In the DirectLink URL, the parameter is displayed as: showLogin=[0/1]

Instead of the Log On page, you include log-on credentials in the direct link by suppling values for these parameters:

Authentication System
User name
Password - the direct link encrypts the password in the format _5_105_164_169_96_128_201.
Repository
Project
Report Catalog
Extended Log-on Parameters (required only if the OA Framework authentication system is selected).

If you do not supply valid values for these parameters, the direct link will not work.
