Specifying the application description

The Application Description tab shows application details, which include application name, unique name, description, version, vendor, and the application type. You provide this information to help users verify that they opened the correct application.

To specify the description of your application:

Open Infor BI Application Composer.
Specify this information:

Name

The name of the application.

Unique name

The unique name of the application.

Description

A brief description of the application.

Version

The version of the application.

Vendor

The application vendor.

Select the application type:

Option	Description
Self-contained application	Represents a complete application, which can be installed on a machine with or without a previous version of the app.
Incremental application update depending on version	Represents an incremental update to an application. Specify the lowest supported version.
Cumulative application update depending on version	Represents a cumulative update to an application. Specify the lowest supported version.

Note: Ensure that the type of each application component matches the type of the application.
