Importing an application key

Inforcontent developers and Infor partners who create business applications are provided with an application key. The application key is a digital key that certifies the identity of the content developer. The application key is required to create and edit applications that are signed by Infor. The application key must be imported to the locally installed tool. It is then stored in the registry.
Note:  You can have only one application key at a time. To replace an existing application key, use the Manage Application Key wizard.

To import the application key:

  1. Open Application Composer.
  2. Select Help > Manage Application Key . The Manage Application Key wizard displays the vendor and the author.
  3. Click Import.
  4. Browse to your application key file and confirm.
