Defining or modifying loose container information for shipper

Use this page to add loose container to the shipper. You can also add additional packaging information for the loose container.

To add or modify the loose container:

Select Shipments > Create Shipper. The Shipper criteria page is displayed.
Specify the required information.
Click Continue. The Requirements page is displayed.
Select the check box corresponding to the parts, specify the quantity to be shipped in the Suggested Ship Qty. field and click Create Shipper. The Shipper page is displayed.

Note: You can access the Shipper page using the View Shippers menu, to modify the container information.
Click Edit Containers corresponding to the packaging template in the Line Items section. The Containers page is displayed.
Click Add in the Loose Container List section. The Loose Container Information page is displayed.

Note: You can modify the container details using the Edit option corresponding to the Container Code.
Specify or modify this information:

Container Code

The code of the container.

Tare Weight

The weight of the empty container.

Units Per

The quantity of the part shipped in the detail container.

Number of Containers

The number of containers used for the shipment.

Include in Advance Shipping Notice

If this check box is selected, the container data is included on the Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN).

Include in Printing Documents

If this check box is selected, the container information is printed on the shipping documents.

Include in Barcode label

If this check box is selected, the container information is printed on the barcode labels.
Click Add in the Loose Container additional packaging List section, to add additional loose container. The Miscellaneous Container Information page is displayed.
Click Save.
