What is the fourth currency?
The fourth currency value available on a transaction can be implemented either as fixed currency or as a variable currency. This is determined by whether or not you set a Value 4 currency code on the business unit setup.
If it is set as a fixed currency, the fourth currency provides a second reporting currency.
If it is set as a variable currency, the fourth currency provides a second currency that can vary on each transaction. For example, it might be used to identify a banking currency.
If a fourth currency value is not entered on a transaction it can be calculated automatically from any of the other four currency values available on the transaction. This choice is made in the 4th Currency Calculated From field on the business unit setup.
The fourth currency cannot be chosen as the pivot currency.
