Allow or Deny Access

From the Printers dialog, to allow access to a printer by a group or user, select the relevant printer, then click Security. This opens the Properties dialog, Security tab where you can click an Allow check box to tick the group or user to be allowed access to the printer.

To deny access to a printer without removing a group or user from those listed on the Properties dialog Security tab, tick the appropriate Deny checkbox on the Security tab, alongside the relevant group or user to be denied access.

Click OK to close the Properties dialog and return to the Printers dialog where you can add or remove another printer or click OK to close that dialog.
