Reparenting controls

Reparenting is needed when you want to move controls to a different container, such as a tab page or frame.

  1. Select the controls you wish to move.
  2. Whilst holding the Ctrl key down, drag the controls inside the container.
  3. Notice that the mouse pointer changes to a curved arrow. This indicates that you have successfully reparented your controls and you can now release the mouse and Ctrl key.
  4. Likewise, if you wish to remove controls from a container, select the controls, hold the Ctrl key down and drag them outside of the container.
