Setting up a Charge Index

A Charge Index can apply to many Charge Rules and contains a series of weighting factors used in the Landed Costs calculation.

  1. Specify this information:
    Charge Index Code
    Identifying code for this Charge Index. This code is then linked to a Charge Rule.
    Description
    The description.
    Short Heading
    The short heading.
    Lookup Code
    The lookup code.
    Weighting Base

    The Analysis Directory on which weighting is based. The same weighting base applies to all weight factors within one charge index code. Options are:

    • Item
    • Item Analysis
    • Transaction Line/Delivery Address
    • Transaction Type
    Analysis Dimension
    If an Analysis Dimension group was selected in the Weighting Base field, this field contains the Analysis Dimension to be used.
