Creating a dispatch note
SunSystems Control Desks functionality is used to select order lines that have reached the Dispatch processing stage and can be used to create a dispatch note. Select Sales Order Inquiry (CD) (SOQCD) from SunSystems, which displays the Control Desk Filter Selection form.
The control desk enables you to select transaction lines which have the dispatch status of, for example, Available for Dispatch. You can then select the required lines and run the batch program to generate the dispatch note.
A message is displayed informing you that the batch program has been completed successfully. The dispatch status for the transaction lines is updated to Fully Dispatched or Partially Dispatched, and can move on to the next stage in processing as defined in the sales type. Once you have generated a dispatch note you then need to print it off.
