Audit Extract

  1. To set up audit trails, select Security Audit (SEA) and the Audit Extract Definitions tab.
  2. To create a new audit extract, click Create on the Audit Extract Definition Detail pane.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Enter a name for the audit extract.
    Description
    Enter a description for the audit extract.
    File Format
    Select the required file format. Options are:
    • Text (Comma Delimited) (*.csv)
    • Text (Tab Delimited) (*.txt)
    Include archived audit data
    Check this check box to include archived audit data in the audit.
    Refine audit description
    Check this check box to create a new column in the extract called Description (Refined).
    Event State
    Check the event state of data to be included in the audit. Options are:
    • Success
    • Failures
    • Not available
    Date Range
    Select from and to dates to define the date range to be included in the audit.
    Audit Events
    Check the check boxes for the event to be included in the audit trail.
    Users and Groups
    Select the users and/or groups who caused the event to occur
  4. Save your changes.
