Converting a store business unit group to a live business unit group

In Business Unit Administration (BUA), you can convert a store business unit group to a live business unit group.

To convert, select the store business unit group to be converted and select Convert from the Action menu. A message is displayed confirming the business unit group will be converted to a live business unit group and that the business units within the business unit group will be set to offline. Click OK to continue or Cancel to abandon the conversion.

If the business unit group contains any live business units the business unit group cannot be converted. If the business unit group is an Archive, a message is displayed confirming the business unit group is an order fulfilment archive and that the linked parent business units cannot be converted. Click OK to continue converting the child business unit groups.

Once successfully completed, the business unit group status remains offline. To amend the status, select Put Online from the Action menu.
