Setting up a multilingual system

If you have a multi-lingual license for SunSystems, you can specify the language in which you want the user interface to be, by setting a language for each operator in Security Console or User Manager.

    Use Business Unit Separators
The decimal and thousand separators used in SunSystems are independent from the settings in your operating systems's Region and Language. For each language, the separators to be used in SunSystems are obtained from either Business Unit Setup, or the Language (LAN) options specified below. Select Yes to use the settings for decimal and thousand separators on Business Unit Setup. Select No to use the Decimal Separator and Thousand Separator options specified below.
    Decimal Separator
Character used as the separator for decimal places in the specified language, if the Use Business Unit Separators option (above) is not set. It is strongly recommended that you set this field to the preferred character for the selected language. You cannot use a blank decimal separator.
    Thousand Separator
Character used as the separator for thousands, millions etc, in the specified language, if the Use Business Unit Separators option (above) is not set. It is strongly recommended that you set this field to the preferred character for the selected language. To specify a space as the thousand separator, enter - hyphen. If no separator is required, leave this field blank.
    Read Right-to-Left
If the installation has been setup to use a right-to-left language, such as Arabic, set this to 'Yes' otherwise 'No'.
    Label Prefix or Suffix
Indicates whether value label descriptions are displayed before or after the value label value. For example, you can display Discount on Net Conversion Rate (prefix) or Conversion Rate Discount on Net (suffix) where Discount on Net is the value label description.
