Units of Measure - Demand Quantity
This is the quantity that is being purchased, sold, or stocked in the reporting or inventory unit of measure. This quantity corresponds to the unit of measure in the Reporting Unit of Measure field on the transaction line. This is a read-only field which is calculated from the transaction quantity after any unit of measure of conversions have been performed.
For example, 5 cases of lemonade converts to 50 bottles (10 bottles per case).
Transaction quantity held in VLAB = 5
Demand quantity = 50
Value label unit of measure held in VLAB = case
Unit of purchase = case
Reporting unit of measure = bottle.
