IFS authentication configuration

  1. To access this form, in User Manager select Settings > Security Policy , then on the Authentication tab click Configure. The fields are blank if no IFS server is configured.
  2. Specify this information:
    IFS Server Name
Enter the fully qualified domain name for the IFS server, for example, ifs_server.domain.com.
    HTTPS Port Number
The secure port number for accessing the IFS server, for example, 9643.
  3. Save your changes.
  4. On the Authentication tab click Publish to pass the SunSystems groups information to the IFS server when SunSystems IFS Authentication Configuration is done. SunSystems groups are saved as security roles on the IFS servers. You can assign security roles to an existing IFS account. Users automatically enrolled to that account are assigned to the corresponding SunSystems groups. Only group names and descriptions are published. Soft and permanently deleted groups are not published.
