What are profiles?
A profile defines:
- the type of data transfer: import only, export only and internal transfer (export followed by import).
- the source and target data formats to be used in the transfer process, depending upon the transfer type specified. These can be a SSC component for example, Purchase Order, or a user defined external file type.
- any runtime options for the profile (which depend upon the source and target selected), and whether the options can be overridden at run time.
- export filtering and summarization, if applicable.
- any data transformation to be carried out during the transfer process. You do this by attaching an existing transformation to a profile.
To create and modify profiles, use the appropriate profile designer.
Uwaga: Transformations are mandatory. However, where the source and target
are the same

data format, a default system transformation is provided.
