Managing operator activity
This topic is only relevant if you are using SunSystems.
The Manage Operator Activity function is used by system administrators to monitor user activity, and also to clear operators when they are locked out of SunSystems due to, for example, system failures.
Select
to view Operator Activity information.To display operator activity details in another language installed in SunSystems, select the language from the drop-down list and click .
Note: The display is not updated in real-time so will not show any live user changes. Click
to display the most recent user
details.
This table shows the main details of operator activity:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Operator Code | Operator ID associated with the a user who is logged into SunSystems |
Full Name | Name associated with the User ID |
Session Number | Session number associated with the Operator ID
Operator ID's may be associated with multiple session numbers |
Function Description | Description of the function being run within the session number |
Current Business Unit | Business unit being used within this session, where applicable |
Current System | Module of which the function being run is a part:

Data Source Id | ID of the database to which the user is connected |
Application Server Name | Application server on which the session is being run |
Application Server Process Id | Physical process ID (PID) of the session running on the application server |
Database Process Id | Process ID of the session connection, as allocated by the database server |
