Copying a transformation

You can copy a transformation, rename it and, optionally, edit the transformation details:

  1. Open Transformation Designer.
  2. Select a transformation.
  3. Click Copy Transformation.
  4. Rename the copied transformation and, optionally, modify the transformation details. Complete this information:
    Script Type
    Select either TML or XSL. When you select XSL, you can only create transformations in Script view using XSL.
    Name
    Rename the copied transformations. This is mandatory.
    Description
    Optionally, specify a description for the new transformation rule.
    Source Format
    Select a data format for the source. This refers to the data formats available from Format Designer and includes formats that are user defined.
    Target Format
    Select a data format for the target.
    Note: At least one from Source Format and Target Format must be a SunSystems component.
  5. Click Save Profile. Depending on the script type, either the TML Details or the Script view is displayed.
  6. Optionally, edit the script details.
  7. Click Save. The new transformation is displayed.
