are not linked, by their icon
.
In Report Manager, from the list of folders
in the left hand pane, select the report from which to create a linked report,
then from the Toolbar, select New
Linked Report. This creates the linked report in the current
folder. You can then move this to any other folder using the Cut and Paste menu options.
Note: You can
also right-click your mouse when selecting a report, to open a pop-up menu
where you can find the same New Linked Report option that is available on the
Toolbar.
In the New Linked Report dialog,
Linked Report
Name field, the name of the file you selected is displayed with
the message Duplicate item name below it. The OK button below the field is also disabled.
In the Linked Report
Name field, replace the name shown with a new name for the
linked report.
Note: In the Linked
Report Name field, you can enter up to a limit of 20 text
characters. You cannot specify a location for the linked report in this
field.
Click
OK. This saves the linked
report to the current folder, in the same location as the original report.
To move the linked report from the current folder to another
folder, right-click the linked report and from the pop-up menu select
Copy, then move the cursor
to the required folder, right-click and from the pop-up menu select
Paste to place the copied
report there.
