Customizing window layout

Floating Panes

You can customize Form Designer's default window layout by repositioning the following main panes:

• Data Item Hierarchy
• Data Item List
• Properties bar

By default, all three panes are positioned to the far left and right of the Form Designer window. Repositioning these panes allows you to gain maximum space for the Form window.

• Click the double bar at the top of the docked pane and drag it to the new position.
• To return the pane to its default position, drag the title bar to the edge of the Form Designer window.
• To hide panes, from the View menu deselect the required pane, or use the toggle buttons on the Standard toolbar.
