Options

  1. Specify this information:
    Data Access Group
    Document Format Code

The document format to be used to produce the Financial Statement reports. The default format code is FS2. However, several document formats may be available to cater for different types of Financial Statement report. For example, there may be a wide column format. You may want to test the report using different format options.

    Transfer File Format

If you want to transfer the report data to a file, select the file format you require. Totals and individual transactions are not shown in the file. For further information on the file formats available, and transfer file considerations see Transferring Report Data to Other Software Packages.

    Report Transactions

Set this to print the transactions selected by the run time criteria on the report. The transactions are printed between each line, and include those, which make up the current period. If this option is not set, the transactions are summarized and only the totals appear on the report.

Note:  The fourth currency values are not included for each transaction, even if they are in use, because of the printing width constraints.
    Report Codes

Normally only account, analysis and currency code description are printed. Set this to include the account, analysis or currency codes alongside the description. You must leave column A code blank to make more room for codes.

    Wide Columns

Set this to specify that wide columns should be used if your amounts are too large to be displayed in standard width columns. See Formatting a Financial Report.

    Bracket Negatives

Set this if you want negative amounts to be shown in brackets, or leave it blank to have negative amounts shown preceded by a minus sign. See Reporting Signs and Variances.

    Exclude Zero Value Rows

If you select this field, then the statement lines for which all the amounts are zero are not printed on the report. If you leave this field blank, then all statement lines are printed, regardless of the values. If you are printing at individual transaction level, lines with zero values are always included in the report.

    Notify if Held Journals

Set this to display a warning at run time, if there are any held journals for the business unit. You are given the option to continue or view the existing held journals. Leave it blank if no check is to be performed.

    Amount Format

Select the format to be used for printing amounts.
