Options
-
Specify this information:
- Data Access Group
- Document Format Code
-
The document format to be used to produce the Financial Analysis reports. The default format code is FA3. However, several document formats may be available to cater for different types of Financial Analysis report. For example, there may be a wide column format. You may want to test the report using different format options.
- Transfer File Format
-
If you want to transfer the report data to a file, select the file format you require. Totals, headings and individual transactions are not included in the file. For further information on the file formats available, and transfer file considerations see Transferring Report Data to Other Software Packages.
- Report Transactions
-
Set this to print the transactions selected by the run time criteria on the report. The transactions are printed between each line, and include those, which make up the current period. If this is not set, the transactions are summarized and only the totals appear on the report.
Note: The fourth currency values are not included for each transaction, even if they are in use, because of the printing width constraints. - Report Codes
-
Normally only account, analysis and currency code descriptions are printed. Set this to include the account, analysis or currency codes alongside the description. You must leave column A code blank to make more room for codes.
- Consolidate
-
Set this to include data from more than one business unit in your report. See Consolidating Data in a Financial Analysis Report.
- Wide Columns
-
Set this to specify that wide columns should be used if your amounts are too large to be displayed in standard width columns. See Formatting a Financial Report.
- Exclude Zero Value Rows
-
If you have selected not to print individual transactions, you can set this option to exclude a line if all of the values on the line are zero.
If you have set the Report Transactions option to include transactions on the report, any lines with zero values are always included in the report. This is because there may be transactions for the line which net to zero.
- Notify if Held Journals
-
Set this to display a warning at run time, if there are any held journals for the business unit. You are given the option to continue or view any existing held journals. Leave it blank if no check is to be performed.
- Sort
-
Set this to use alternative sort levels for the report.
- Amount Format
-
Select the format to be used for printing amounts.
- Select Transactions
-
Click to select transactions.
