How to restore the security password
Security Console will not work correctly if, due to some data corruption or error in the SunSystems Security table SUNSYSTEMSSECURITY, the password for SunSystems Security is lost.
To overcome this problem, the Oracle administrator should log in to the SunSystems Security schema:
- Stop the Windows service SunSystems Security Service.
- Delete any existing entry in SUNSYSTEMSSECURITY.
- Reset the password for the SunSystems Security schema owner to the username, for example, set the password for GSUSER to GSUSER.
- Restart the Windows service SunSystems Security Service.
