Understanding the Reconciliations Transaction Lists
Transactions are extracted for reconciliation when you click Reconciliations - Select form.
on theThe chosen account transactions are listed on the Reconciliations form in the top and bottom grids. The transactions displayed are determined by the reconciliation account definitions for the reconciliation profile.
The top of the form identifies the reconciliation accounts from which the transactions were extracted for the two transaction grids. It displays the business unit, account code and account description of each reconciliation account. Alongside this information it also displays the total of the transactions that have been reconciled for each reconciliation account. The appropriate total is updated automatically when the Fully Rec flag is set on a transaction to reconcile it.
These reconciliation totals are expressed in either the base or transaction currency, as determined by the Use Transaction Amount field for the reconciliation profile.
Each transaction grid displays the following transaction details:
- Transaction Date
- Transaction Reference
- Allocation Marker
- Amount in the Base Currency
- Transaction Currency Amount
- Credit/Debit Indicator
- Description
- Posted Date
- Ledger Analysis Codes 1-10.
Each grid also contains the following indicator fields for each transaction:
- Fully Rec - this indicates a reconciled transaction and can be set manually or automatically, and removed manually.
- Duplicate - which indicates a duplicate transaction and is set by Auto-Reconcile.
