Accessing Online Allocation from Ledger Entry
To allocate a journal transaction online in Ledger Entry, select to display the Online Allocation form.
This online allocation form can be displayed automatically by setting the Automatic Online Allocation option on a journal line in Journal Presets (JNP). This setting displays the form automatically after the preset line is entered on Ledger Entry.
You can choose to allocate each line of a journal after you have entered it. Alternatively, if you have a number of entries for the same account in the journal, you can enter all of these transactions and then activate online allocation on the last entry for the account.
