Open the A/R Payment Posting
form or A/R Wire Posting form.

For these fields, select the range of values to include in the
post:
- Customer
- Bank Code
- Receipt Date
- Check Number (A/R Payment
Posting form)
- Wire Number (A/R Wire
Posting form)
- Credit Memo

Select Increment Date to place the
report on the Background Queue and automatically re-run the payment posting. See the
topic on setting an increment date for more information.

Select Display Report Header to
include report headers in the output.

The Print option is automatically
selected. You must first print the A/R Payment
Transaction Report to review and verify the transactions that will be
posted.

To produce the report, select Process.
After reviewing the report, you can post the transactions. Notice
that the Commit option is now enabled.

Select the Commit option.

To post the payments, select Process.
Transactions containing errors are not posted. If a transaction contains errors,
correct them, and then try again to post.
Note: The Accounts Receivable account must be assigned on the Accounts tab on the Accounts Receivable Parameters
form; otherwise, an error message is displayed and the posting process stops.
